Magic Realism of Rob Gonsalves

To make illusions in images and pictures is one thing and perhaps the internet today is filled with these type of entertaining images. However painting such creative paintings with original ideas and creative thoughts is something that perhaps the master of it is the Canadian Rob Gonsalves . His paintings and illustrations are breathtakingly awesome and thoughtful. His style is considered magic realism. Interestingly his talent is not something new and he's been doing paintings and creative illustrations since his childhood. What was it about inventors in the 20th century that made some of their inventions so weird? Take just about anything you can think of, and someone probably invented a really weird version of it at some point in the 20th century. There have been tons of weird inventions in the past, but they even managed to make something like beauty products look weird and terrifying.
